EMERSE (EMERSE SALES US INC, registered in Florida, and EMERSE GROUP LTD, registered in England, together "EMERSE" - "we," "us," "our") is a sales effectiveness and enablement company. As part of our services, we manage recruitment processes on behalf of our clients. EMERSE is the data controller for any personal information submitted by candidates unless otherwise stated.

2. What Data We Collect

When you apply for a role through EMERSE, we may collect the following information:

  • Full name

  • Contact details (email address, phone number, address)

  • Resume/CV, cover letter, and other application materials

  • Information about your experience, qualifications, skills, and employment history

  • Assessment and interview results

  • Communication records (email, SMS, notes from calls or interviews)

  • References or background check results (if applicable and permitted)

  • Information about your right to work in the relevant country

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely for recruitment-related purposes:

  • To assess your application and qualifications

  • To contact you via email, phone, or SMS for updates and scheduling

  • To facilitate interviews and communicate with hiring teams

  • To conduct assessments or background checks (with your consent)

  • To make hiring decisions and prepare offers

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under GDPR, we process your data based on the following lawful grounds:

  • Your consent (Article 6(1)(a))

  • Our legitimate interest in hiring qualified candidates (Article 6(1)(f))

  • To take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b))

For CCPA compliance, we do not sell your personal information. Your data is only used to evaluate your application.

5. Data Retention

We retain candidate data for up to 12 months from the close of a recruitment process unless you request deletion sooner. In some cases, we may ask your permission to retain your profile for future opportunities.

6. Data Sharing

We may share your data with:

  • Internal EMERSE recruiters and hiring managers

  • Our client companies (the employers hiring for the role)

  • Third-party service providers who help us operate our hiring systems (e.g. video interview platforms, applicant tracking systems)

All data shared is done so under strict confidentiality and data processing agreements.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

9. Use of Email and SMS

By applying for a role, you agree to receive communications from EMERSE via email and SMS for recruitment-related purposes only. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at the email below.
