As a small, agile family business experiencing rapid growth, we’re seeking an experienced Director of Sales to help lead our sales team and drive continued success in expanding our reach worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue goals.

  • Team Empowerment: Inspire, coach, and lead the sales team to exceed quotas and close high-value deals.

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts and major customers.

  • Business Growth: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through market research, networking, and creative outreach.

  • Negotiation Expertise: Drive win-win agreements with customers, managing pricing, terms, and contracts with precision.

  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyse competitive activity, and adapt strategies to seize opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Work Collaboratively with Engineering: Bring innovation to the engineering team to assist with product development.

  • Tech-Savvy Management: Leverage CRM tools to optimise sales processes, track performance, and generate actionable insights.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Assist and collaborate with marketing to support sales efforts.

  • Pricing and Compliance: Lead on product pricing strategy while ensuring legal and compliance standards are met.

  • Continuous Growth: Stay at the forefront of the industry through continuous learning and development.

Job requirements

What You Bring

  • 5 years + proven leadership in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.

  • A strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution capabilities.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM software and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Clean driving licence
