First Priority Audio is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities and meeting with prospects to design, propose, and sell custom smart space solutions. The ideal candidate excels in sales, business development, and relationship building.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proven business development executive. This position is responsible for seeking out new opportunities and building fruitful relationships. This includes actively reaching out to prospects via the phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings, attending networking events, inviting prospects to company-sponsored events, giving presentations, presenting proposals, and nurturing existing relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets.
  • Generate leads through networking, attending industry events, and building relationships with builders, designers, and architects.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's growth.
  • Generate business and ensure monthly quotas are met.
  • Hunter's mentality to identify and reach key decision makers.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with trade partners to drive referral business.
  • Meet with prospects to assess needs and propose customized smart space solutions.
  • Collaborate with system designers and stakeholders to present tailored proposals.
  • Stay informed on the latest technology trends and product offerings.
  • Handle conflict and objections with a levelheaded approach.
  • Strong ethics and core value alignment
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
  • Self-motivated to leverage all methods of generating leads.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma is required; a technical school, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years working in a sales role or equivalent. Experience in sales of luxury goods and services preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with trade partners, such as general contractors, interior designers, developers, and interior designers preferred.
  • Proven ability to reach, access, and secure meetings with appropriate decision-makers.

Time & Work Environment:

  • Full-time position with flexibility for evening and weekend appointments to meet client schedules.
  • Hybrid role with frequent time away from office or home.
  • This is an exempt status role.

Compensation:

Expected total compensation up to $160,000 full comp at plan achievement, with an uncapped potential on commissions. Base salary IRO $50,000-75,000 - negotiable based on experience.
