JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
POSITION: FULL-TIME
LOCATION: MIAMI, FL (MIAMI-DADE AND BROWARD COUNTY)

WHAT IS THE ROLE?
Apart from all the traditional responsibilities of a commissioned Sales Professional in the Hospitality Industry, other important duties are listed below.
Fielding and managing Catering and Wholesale Sales Function include:
Day time calls from wholesale and retail clients by providing information, pricing, and proposals.
Manage existing client relationships through in-person, phone and email communication.
Coordinate logistical planning with marketing and restaurant & catering operational departments for all offsite venue catering events.
Generate estimates and invoices using Restaurant 365.
Assist with catering delivery and set-up when necessary
Generate event catering packing lists and event flow schedules
Oversee event calendar and work closely with production manager to ensure communication between various departments.
Lead order execution with interior resources including catering coordinator, restaurant & commissary venues to schedule production, delivery, pick-up and set up.
Job requirements

1-2 years of experience in hospitality sales or service
Well organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow up
Be a “quick study” and a “self-starter” who is willing to go the extra mile and guide individual efforts.
Strong administrative skill set and ability to handle a full workload
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft office – word, excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Restaurant 365 and Intuit Quick books a plus!
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present and lead conversations confidently at senior levels of an organization.
Ability to respond appropriately to both positive feedback and constructive criticism.
Excellent people, time, and project management skills
